Nova Magazine
I now know where American Apparel gets their inspiration. Nova magazine was a monthly British style magazine published from March 1965 until October 1975. It featured some ground-breaking Art Direction and photography by Harri Peccinotti. Classic 70's potpourri of type used throughout the covers and spreads of each issue. Definitely worth appreciating.

Project Update
Here's a little taste of what we've been working on over the past few weeks. Some things are closer to completion than others, but we're still happy with the progress thus far.
If we go this route it'll probably a limited run of 30 or so. Unless we figure out a way to print it without sacrificing the texture of the water color paper that isn't too costly. This is still in the process of being recorded, but I'll throw up some mp3 previews before it comes out.
Black and white preview of the Sleep Light zine, complete with belly band. Wish there was a different name for that, makes me think of pregnant women or something. This will hopefully out and printed by the end of the month.
Working out the kinks with the "Win Some, Lose Most" poster. These are just rough drafts. Certain things with this one might change from what's pictured here, but nonetheless, this is where we're at so far--figuring out folds and printing options. Really looking forward to the final product if all goes as planned.
So that's all for now. Stay dry, friends.

I have no idea what this is. Whatever it is is pretty interesting, awesome, and intriguing though.

Greece 2009
Finally got around to editing a clip of the super8 that I shot while I was in Greece. I'm pretty happy with it.

Weekend Getaway: Lock Haven, PA
Beer Girls had plans to do a weekend trip to Pittsburgh to try and record a few songs at Duquesne University last weekend. Things didn't quite go as planned and we had a bunch of van trouble. Here are some photos I shot along the way. (and thanks to Chris for the digi flicks)
Cleaning Bessie before the drive.
Breakdown #1
Waking up early to fix the van after sleeping in the Autozone parking lot.
Only to breakdown again.
We broke down in lovely Lock Haven, Pennsylvania
Checkers had great food and cheap booze, both of which we consumed too much of on this trip.
Hotel recordings.
6 hour bus ride home.
Although we literally had no idea where we were or what we were doing half of the time, good times were had. Hopefully we'll make it through Lock Haven to play a show one day. And who knows, maybe we'll release a Lock Haven Sessions cd?
