Crypt Tripping

Eric hit us up with some photos from a recent trip of his. I would tell you where he is right now, but to be honest I have no idea. Whatever he's doing I'm sure it's epic though. Pretty sure he's out working on farms and living off the land. Hope to see you soon, bud.

Greece 2009

Finally got around to editing a clip of the super8 that I shot while I was in Greece. I'm pretty happy with it.

Weekend Getaway: Lock Haven, PA

Beer Girls had plans to do a weekend trip to Pittsburgh to try and record a few songs at Duquesne University last weekend. Things didn't quite go as planned and we had a bunch of van trouble. Here are some photos I shot along the way. (and thanks to Chris for the digi flicks)

Cleaning Bessie before the drive.

Breakdown #1

Waking up early to fix the van after sleeping in the Autozone parking lot.

Only to breakdown again.

We broke down in lovely Lock Haven, Pennsylvania

Checkers had great food and cheap booze, both of which we consumed too much of on this trip.

Hotel recordings.

6 hour bus ride home.

Although we literally had no idea where we were or what we were doing half of the time, good times were had. Hopefully we'll make it through Lock Haven to play a show one day. And who knows, maybe we'll release a Lock Haven Sessions cd?

This has been floating around the internet for a while now but I couldn't pass it up. It's just too good. Designed by George Rainbird in 1966, it's a flawless example of the International Typographic Style.

Growing

Going to try and catch Growing tonight at Bowery, that is if i can stay awake. They're the dudes that did most of the in-between stuff and titles in Mind Field. If you're into droney experimental music then you'd probably dig it. This little film by Joe DeNardo is pretty cool as well.
