Welcome to the Visivo blog. Here you'll be able to keep track of all of the things we're working on as well as other design, photo and music things we think you might enjoy. Recently, on top of doing shows and zines, we've decided to extend our DIY ideals to music as well. Being that we're all pretty musical, and have friends who are, it only seems natural that we do a few music releases. So over the next few months we'll be dabbling in doing limited CD-R and cassette releases, all with handmade packaging. Runs will probably be of 50, and will be priced cheap. In a world of digital and intangible music, it's going to be nice and refreshing to work on something physical that people will (hopefully) appreciate. So, here's a list of things (zines/shows/music/etc) we're currently working on:
- Win some/Lose Most Words and poems by Ryan Whalen. Zine with linoleum block printed envelope.
- Things I Don't Remember. Nick Ceglia solo photo show/shirt release party at Division East. May 2009, date TBA
- Smolder "Untitled EP". 7 song CD-R, hand made packaging, more info soon.
